В состав музея входит также Скульптурный сад Миннеаполиса [Minneapolis Sculpture Garden]. Центр осуществляет ряд учебных и научных программ, издает ежеквартальник "Дизайн куортерли" [Design Quaterly]. Назван в честь местного промышленника и филантропа Т. Уокера [Walker, T. B.], основавшего музей в своем доме в 1879; публичный музей открыт в 1927. Современный комплекс используется с 1971English-Russian dictionary of regional studies > Walker Art Center
